[News] Rain, Yunho and Taemin Embroiled in Unauthorized Usage of Music for Performances- DBSK/TVXQ/Tohoshinki/SHinee

In the aftermath of the completion of the various Gayo Daejuns in Korea, there was news last Friday that some singers had used some music for their performances without the required permission from copyright holders.

According to reports, DBSK leader U-Know Yunho and Rain had used Justin Timberlake Magic as the background music for their performances in the SBS Gayo Daejun and KBS Gayo Daechuk respectively. But the tune was apparently used without any permission being sought from the copyright holders. In addition, Shinee’s Taemin has also met with the same problem, using Usher Dat Girl Right There for his dance performance at the SBS Gayo Daejun.

A SonyBMG who holds the rights for both songs expressed that Magic and Dat Girl Right There had not been released officially through any channels. They thus do not understand how they had gotten their hands on the songs. Although Magic was illegally uploaded in October last year but it wasn’t included in any of Justin Timberlake’s album thus they are left perplexed at this.

DBSK and Shinee’s manager responded by saying that they didn’t know that the song was obtained through illegal means and expressed their regrets. Rain’s management, J. Tunes expressed that they did not use the music illegally on purpose but only knew that it was an American song. Some Korean netizens felt that it was a national insult, “Even though the singers have called on fans not to download music illegally, why are they infringing on copyrights themselves?”

TVXQ girls’ school attack, “Ha, ha, ha advice” School Attack UCC 6 released

[SPN News] Jaurim, Richard S. Yeoman, Yoon Jong Shin, and top Korean athlete Kim Yu-Na are involved in collecting Samsung’s Ha Ha Ha UCC campaign. TVXQ released the video of them in the school before the attack amongst netizens today.

On the December 23rd, 2008 by surprise TVXQ visited an all-girl class at one high school, performing Ha Ha Ha song for the Ha Ha Ha campaign with a funny choreography. TVXQ prepared the school attack for Republic of Korea’s Ha Ha Ha campaign to offer a surprise gift to the high school students.

There’s line here stated that the boys were quite bored in waiting for the shoots to be ready during that day for the surprise visit, but in the end, they were very pleased with the enthusiastic response.

One student who was one of the lucky girl in the class, “I can’t believe I can see TVXQ in front of my nose,” and “because of them, I’m now more excited to study and they live up my strength,” she said, looking so happy.

Hero, the member of TVXQ, “the shocking expression of the students were really funny and cute,” and “I’m happy that the students were pleased for our visit,” he said his comments on camera.

The video was spread on the internet through blogs and cyworld, and got a great responses from public. The fans respond, “why was not our school?” and “what is the standard of you for selecting the school?” expressing the regret and also jealousy for missing the opportunity to see TVXQ.

The director of the Ha Ha Ha campaign revealed the purpose of this Ha Ha Ha school-attack campaign, “It’s been more difficult to us to cheer for each other with smile,” and “as we’re tired to see this image, we want to give the students hope,” he said.

우리 광일고 졸업생(19회) 동방신기 리더 [유노윤호]가 2004년 2월 졸업한지 약 5년 만에 모교를 방문하였습니다.

혹시라도 팬들의 성화로 차질이 생길까봐 노심초사하며 부모님과 함께 방문한 [유노윤호]는 교장선생님 이하 여러 선생님들을 뵙고 학창시절을 되돌아보기도 하였습니다. 후배들 중 6명을 선발 600만원의 장학금을 지급할 것을 약정하고, 선생님들의 자녀들과 후배들에게 사인을 해주기도 하였으며, 근처 식당으로 이동 70여명과 식사를 하면서 즐거운 시간을 갖기도 하였습니다.

동방신기라는 그룹 활동을 하면서 한 번도 모교를 잊어 본적이 없었다는 그는 그리움만 간직하고 살았던 모교의 후배들이 꿈을 키우고 그 꿈이 실현될 수 있도록 작은 힘이나마 되어 주고 싶어서 직접 모교를 방문하였다며 후배들에게 “꿈을 향해 나아가다보면 성공이라는 두 글자를 손에 쥐게 될 것이다.”라며 기념 사인을 해주기도 하였습니다. “큰 꿈을 간직하기 바란다.” “하고 싶은 일에 열정을 쏟아라.” “나는 아직도 꿈을 꾸며, 가야할 길이 아직 멀다.” 며 후배들을 격려하고 희망을 잃지 말 것을 당부하였습니다.

[유노윤호]는 즐거워하는 후배들을 보면서 오히려 자신이 선생님들과 후배들의 불같은 에너지를 받아 정글 같은 연예계에서 버틸 수 있는 강력한 힘을 얻게 되었다며 매우 기뻐하였습니다.

한류스타에서 월드스타로 발돋움하고 있는 [유노윤호]는 선생님과 선생님의 자녀들 그리고 후배들과 즐거운 시간을 가진 뒤 광주를 방문하면 항상 들렸던 양로원과 몇몇 불우시설을 방문하고 후원금을 전달하기 위해 훗날을 기약하며 아쉬운 발걸음을 돌려야했습니다.

[Review] Heaven's Postman

Heaven’s Postman’s Review

So the story is about a legend of a red mailbox that can send a letter for one’s love and lots of people who can’t forget their important person sent a letter full of love. Saki (Han Hyo Joo), is one of them. She sent a letter full of hatred to her death lover trough the mailbox and thats where she met Yuu (Jaejoong). But the truth is, only Saki can see Yuu,because Yuu is a soul that can’t be seen. Yuu was in a coma since one accident that happened to him and God give him two weeks of extra life time as the heaven’s postman, where he connected between the real world and the dead, between heaven and Earth.
So, in order to bring hope to the people who had lost their beloved person, Saki became Yuu’s assistant. And started forgetting the pain of missing her beloved person, Saki also begin to like Yuu. What will the God’s decision be? Will Yuu survive or dead? And where will the two lovers meet?

Yuu (Hero Jaejoong)

Yuu became rich because of the success of his clothing bussiness, so he has his own favorite way of enjoying life. But after involved in an accident, he became lifeless. While his body remained in the intensive care unit, his soul is out there working as the heaven’s postman and meeting Saki.
