Programme Introduction

Since the first time [a-nation] was held in 2002, it has successfully drawn a crowd of at least 200,000 people every year. Over the past 7 years, it has hit a record of over 2,200,000 people. With one ticket, you can enjoy the exciting performances of many great artists. [a-nation] has gradually become an important aspect of the (Japanese) summer highlights. To talk about [a-nation]'s charm, it has to be the dream-like stage which consists of all the top artists. Depending on the different dates, there will be different artists performing, and this year's stages were fantastic. Also, another draw of [a-nation] is that it is the only outdoor music festival that tours around the country. You can enjoy the best stages and most exciting performances presented to you by the best artists.

At the same time, you can get to know new artists through [a-nation], and get a chance to socialize with other fans who have the same interests. This year, it started with the first concert was held at Kumamoto Country Park on 1 August, Ehime on the 8th, Nagoya on the 15th, 2 days at Tokyo on the 22nd and 23rd, and ended with the final 2-days in Osaka on 29 and 30 August.

[a-nation '09] held 7 concerts in 5 cities around the country. WOWOW have an exclusive broadcast of the concerts that took place on the 22 (Sat) and 23 (Sun) August, at the Tokyo Ajinomoto Stadium. The artists that performed at Tokyo Ajinomoto Stadium were TRF, Every Little Thing, Ayumi Hamasaki, Do As Infinity, Koda Kumi, Tohoshinki, AAA, GIRL NEXT DOOR and more. [TRANS] 090830 a-nation OSAKA 2nd Day: Backstage Observation Report & Ayu Male Fan Comment

a-nation Osaka TVXQ backstage observation.
We were at the seats where the backstage was seen. ^^

When Glove was singing, TVXQ was walking toward the stage.
As soon as we saw them, some of us screamed, and right away, Yuchun and Jejung waved at us.
We went nuts! :D

The way Yuchun waved was different from Jejung; Yuchun's wave was kind of like bowing at us,
raising both arms up and down, which made all of us who watched him laugh. ^^

Junsu dance-walked, moving his body and matching to the Glove music, towards the stage.
Very cute and cool!

Yunho and Changmin observed Junsu, and calmly walked towards the stage,
which made us fans grin as we could observe their unique characters in such a valuable moment. ;)
Lucky us!!

We heard the rumor that Yunho had hurt his leg while shooting for his new drama.
That make sense as Yunho did not do a flip during the first day in Osaka,

but during the second day, he did it, so we believe his legs are getting better. ^^

Ayu male fan's comment at a-nation Osaka 09:

This year at a-nation Osaka, what was surprising was definitely TVXQ. First of all, they performed after Kumi Koda. Does that mean that they are more popular than Kumi now?

Last year, I didn't really notice them, but this year, there was a huge difference in atmosphere. It seemed that the whole place was filled with TVXQ fans, and right before they showed up, we had to cover our ears because the cheers were incredibly loud.

We could not hear anything but the cheer of the fans. Both my friend and I were amazed of the heat the whole TVXQ fans brought to the place and made us worry if Ayu would have as good a response as TVXQ.

But we did not have to worry since these TVXQ fans cheered for our Ayu at the final of the concert. They brought good energy to the a-nation which we were happy about.

I finished my first day! Wow, we’re already in Tokyo! (laugh)
I haven’t blogged in a while!
There was something that really surprised me today.
There was a time on stage when I felt really calm, and I started thinking, “Hey, I was watching ‘Doumini coopere~’ from backstage last year.” The lights were really beautiful.
This year,
Before Tohoshinki was going to sing, there were blue lights.
Once a video of them showed up, red lights started glowing all across the audience.
Yes, it was the fans' red lights!!
And when the five of them were walking towards the huge ocean of fire (omg, it’s a RED OCEAN xD), I started getting really excited and moved.
It was amazing. Every single person’s strength put together can something so huge.

I really want to show all of you!
Blue lights,
Red lights,
What I saw was purple, because the colors were mixed!!!!!
And then we started dancing “Purple Line”.
I felt like it had been a while since I had been so into a dance, and I had tons of fun!

Annyeong! (Hello in Korean)
I went to a-nation! It was really hot.
Tohoshinki and their fans were really riled up xD
I got there a little after 10:00…and there was a huge line.
I asked someone what it was, and they told me it was for a-nation.
I really didn’t believe them at first…it was so different from last year.
I went to eat the food that Tohoshinki had ready [Korean style shaved ice that they named Love in the Ice].
It was gooood.
The ice was like snow powder. I usually don’t really like shaved ice, but this was good.


It started getting pretty dark, so we knew that they were going to come out soon.
And when I thought about it, I started getting all teary.
Before 7:00 (PM), on the screen…It was the five of them <3>3< And I also got to check and see Yoochun’s new tattoo^^ If any of you get to go tomorrow, cheer them on for me! ^^ That was my rushed report~.

[NEWS] DBSK to attend Fireworks Festival in Japan

Could this be a sign that things could be working out for the better?

All five DBSK members will be participating in the ‘30th Annual Jingumae Fireworks Festival’ hosted by Nikkan Sports newspaper in Tokyo on the 6th. All members of DBSK will perform on stage at the National Stadium in Tokyo as planned. It seems as though their appearance at the event is official because earlier today, Nikkan Sports posted a bulletin on their hompage, announcing that DBSK will be present at the event.

So, it seems as though not all of DBSK’s schedules have been cancelled or postponed, as previously announced. Apparently Yunho and Changmin attended the ‘A-Nation 09′ event in Japan on the 1st and happily performed together, without showing any signs of tension. Also, the word around town is that DBSK will also attend the ‘SM Town Live 09′ concert in Seoul on the 16th.

Let’s all keep our fingers crossed and hope that this is a sign that SM and DBSK are working out this whole situation for the better.

Bigeast, how do you do?

[a-nation'09 powered by WHEY & ENERGY] fanclub would be organizing the 2nd plan of selling goods.
This year, there would be stalls set up at all a-nation venues. Aside from these goods, there would be idols’ limited cards sold at these stores. Fanclub members can also get these from their mobile websites.

The idol stalls:
hitomi, Every Little Thing, Ayumi Hamasaki, Koda Kumi, BoA, Ai, Tohoshinki, AAA, GIRL NEXT DOOR

A total of 144 different cards would be sold. Sold by threes, these are priced at 200 yen each.

Within these three cards, there is bound to be one card that each fan would want! The other two might not be what the fans want. However, you are welcome to trade with other people. You can only buy one set each time. The maximum for each fan is 10 packets (30 cards).

Attention:
With regards to the Ehime performance on the 1st of August and the Aichi performance on 15th of August, there would not be any a-nation fanclub store set up because of the venue. Thus, no special cards can be sold.
Other than the said performances, all the other performances venues would still have the selling of these goods.

Our staff would be pleased to help everyone out.
